will be taught in the disciplines of multiple styles and approaches
that will certify you as a mixed style instructor which will be your
jumping off point to creating a teaching style that is uniquely
yours.
The Omaha Yoga School has a rich 30+
years of tradition to offer and the best and well-rounded yoga
instructors that are dedicated to developing themselves as well as
their students. In your training you will be instructed in teaching
postures and sequencing, breath work, meditation, philosophy,
history, applied anatomy, the subtle body, personal practice on and
off the mat, and the business side to yoga. |
| | The Omaha Yoga School's Module
Based Yoga Instructor Training
FLEXIBILITY – It's what
yogis are
known for and is the main goal of our Module Based Training Program.
Our Eleven Modules are offered at least twice in one calendar year
(these will only run if there are 4+ registrations in one module) so
if you can't make a weekend in the schedule, you will have the
opportunity to make it up. For the most individualize and flexible
training, private sessions are also available for modules at an
additional cost. | To complete the 200 hour Yoga Alliance
approved training you must complete all 11 modules and attend yoga
sessions at the Omaha Yoga School as suggested by your trainer (out of town exceptions apply). You
may also just complete certain modules for your own personal
development even if you do not desire to teach. The Introduction
Class (M1) and the Philosophy Class (M9) may be completed with no
prerequisites. All Modules are 18 Hours (2 Days, 8 am – 6 pm)
except M11, which is only 9 Hours. There will also be required reading for the trainings.
